Ryan Boating and Sailing - AGES 8-16 - Afternoon Boating & Sailing Week #6 Quincy Recreation Boating & Sailing lessons will be offered this summer in two different time slots: 2:00–4:30 PM and 4:30–7:00 PM. These expanded afternoon and early evening options will allow Quincy Recreation to serve more Quincy families with recreational opportunities and provide greater flexibility for participants.Also new this Summer, The William F. Ryan Boating and Sailing Program Waiver and Release of Liability Form must be filled out for the clinics. IT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BE FILLED OUT ELECTRONICALLY WHEN YOU CHECK OUT WITH YOUR ORDER. The William F. Ryan Boating and Sailing Facility is located in scenic Merrymount Park. The boating facility is located on Black’s Creek, a pristine saltwater lagoon ideally suited for boating and sailing. This facility is named for William F. Ryan, the city’s first full-time director of recreation, serving from 1955-1975. For over 60 years, the instructors at the William F. Ryan Boating and Sailing Facility have taught the city’s children ages 8-16 the fundamentals of boating. We have a very experienced and friendly staff that enthusiastically teaches youngsters the fundamentals of rowing, canoeing, and sailing.

A $10 fee per individual adult or family applies to Non-Residents, payable at the Boathouse at the time of rental. A valid photo ID is required for all Adults & Families using the Boating & Sailing equipment.All participants are required to complete a Boating & Sailing Waiver and Release of Liability prior to participation. Waivers will be filled out in person at the Boathouse.Adult + Family Schedule for the summer.....JULY 27 to AUGUST 21Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM***Please note: Equipment availability may be limited during the Teaching Clinic hours of Monday thru Friday, 2:00 - 4:30 PM.
