Jump Start Clinic activities: This clinic provides a week of traditional activities under supervision that include arts & crafts, games, sports, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops, parachute play, and more. This clinic is for participants entering Grade K through Grade 2. This recreational experience will be plenty of fun.
Activities and crafts for each week will follow the weekly themes and will take place at Mitchell/McCoy Field in Merrymount Park:

Week #2: Superhero Training
Week #3: Under the Sea
Week #4: Summer Safari
Week #5: Carnival
Week #6: Out of this World
Week #7: Once Upon a Time
General Information
Jump Start Clinics will take place at Mitchell/McCoy Field in Merrymount Park.
Supervised by the Quincy Recreation Staff.
PLEASE NOTE - Jump Start Junior Sports Academy is a different program and is held in a different location.
Drop-off and Pick-up Information
The clinic is held at the Mitchell/McCoy Softball Field.
Pick-up and Drop-off can be done at the Mitchell/McCoy Field on Merrymount PKWY. It is next to the Collins Rest-A-While Playground, and across the street from Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Note:
- Initial registration is for Quincy residents only.
- Grades are as of September 2026.
- Refund Policy: No Refunds for Summer Programs After June 18, 2026. The Department will issue Full Payment Refunds, Less a 20% Administration Fee, to participants if the request to withdraw is made in writing and received by the Recreation Department on or before June 18, 2026. Payments are non-refundable after June 18, 2026, unless a documented medical excuse is provided.
