Kidz Korner/Jump Start
Jump Start Clinic activities: This clinic provides a week of traditional activities under supervision that will include arts & crafts, games, sports, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops, and parachute play, and more. This clinic is for participants entering Grade K through Grade 2. This recreational experience will be plenty of fun.

Activities and crafts for each week will follow the weekly themes and will take place at Mitchell/McCoy Field in Merrymount Park:

Week 1: Party in the USA! 
Week 2: Superhero Training
Week 3: Under the Sea
Week 4: Summer Safari
Week 5: Carnival
Week 6: Out of this World 
Week 7: Once Upon a Time

General Information
Jump Start Clinics will occur at Mitchell/McCoy Field in Merrymount Park.
Supervised by the Quincy Recreation Staff.

Jump Start Junior Sports Academy is a different program and is held in a different location.

Drop-off and Pick-up Information
Pick-up and Drop-off can be done adjacent to the Collins Rest-A-While Playground and Mitchell/McCoy Field.

Note:
  • Grades are as of September 2025.
  • Initial registration is for Quincy residents only.
  • Refund Policy: No Refunds for Summer Programs After June 13, 2025. The Department will issue Full Payment Refunds Less a 20% Administration Fee to participants if the request to withdraw is made in writing and is received by the Recreation Department Before June 13, 2025. Payment is NOT refundable after June 13, 2025, unless a documented medical excuse is provided to the Department.
