Quincy Recreation Athletic League’s mission is to provide positive recreational experiences with particular emphasis on participation, character and skill development, good sportsmanship, and having fun. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.

The Premier League will be broken up into divisions by grade and will have one practice each week, one "Skills & Drills" session per week, 10 games during the season, and end-of-season jamborees.

Premier League Basketball for Grades 5 to 8 - General Information
  • Basketball for this age group will involve games on Saturdays, one practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, and a skills session each week.
  • There are two practice times available per age group, you will be asked your practice time preference during registration!
  • There will be 10 weeks of practices, scrimmage games, games, and skills sessions for $150!
  • No games on December 23rd or February 17th. The week of March 4th will be for snow make-up dates.
  • Saturdays will be at North Quincy High School Gym, Hunt Street, Quincy, MA 02171
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be at Broad Meadows Middle School Gym, 50 Calvin Road, Quincy, MA 02169 OR Lincoln Hancock School Gym, 216 Water Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
  • To maintain the 2022 Fees for the 2023/24 Basketball Season, new navy blue/gold basketball uniforms are NOT included in the Registration Fee. If your child needs a new uniform this year, add one to your shopping cart before checkout. The cost is $30.

Premier League Basketball for Grades 5 to 8 - Practice Times
  • Boys in Grades 5 & 6 will practice on either Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Broad Meadows OR Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Broad Meadows. You will be given a chance to pick your practice time preference during registration. Games for Boys in Grades 5 & 6 will be on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. at North Quincy High School.
  • Girls in Grades 5 & 6 will practice on either Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lincoln Hancock OR Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Broad Meadows. You will be given a chance to pick your practice time preference during registration. Games for Girls in Grades 5 & 6 will be on Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. at North Quincy High School.
  • Boys in Grades 7 & 8 will practice on either Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Broad Meadows OR Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Broad Meadows. You will be given a chance to pick your practice time preference during registration. Games for Boys in Grades 7 & 8 will be on Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. at North Quincy High School.
  • Girls in Grades 7 & 8 will practice on either Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lincoln Hancock OR Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Broad Meadows. You will be given a chance to pick your practice time preference during registration. Games for Girls in Grades 7 & 8 will be on Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. at North Quincy High School.

Premier League Basketball for Grades 5 to 8 - Skill Session Times
  • Grade 5 & 6 Boys - Tuesdays at Broad Meadows from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Grade 5 & 6 Girls - Thursdays at Broad Meadows from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Grade 7 & 8 Boys - Wednesdays at Broad Meadows from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Grade 7 & 8 Girls - Thursdays at Broad Meadows from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
