Leaders-in-Training Program - Level Up Leadership
This summer, the Quincy Recreation Department is excited to introduce Level Up Leadership, a one-week pilot program designed for motivated 15-year-olds who are interested in developing confidence, teamwork, communication, and real-world leadership skills.
Held primarily outdoors at Pageant Field and various locations throughout the city, this hands-on program will feature engaging team-building activities, icebreakers, problem-solving challenges, leadership exercises, and guided group discussions that encourage personal growth and self-reflection.
As an added benefit, successful completion of this program by the participant will make them eligible for consideration for staff positions in next summer’s expanded leadership program. While participation does not guarantee employment, it provides valuable experience and allows Recreation Department staff to assess each individual's readiness for future leadership roles.
To ensure a high-quality experience, enrollment is limited to just 15 participants. The program fee is $90 per person.
Program Dates: Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Primarily Pageant Field and other locations throughout Quincy
Ages: Must be at least 15 years-old by June 25, 2026

General Information
- Must be at least 15 years-old by June 25, 2026
- Registration is for Quincy residents only.
- Refund Policy: No Refunds for Summer Programs After June 18, 2026. The Department will issue Full Payment Refunds, Less a 20% Administration Fee, to participants if the request to withdraw is made in writing and received by the Recreation Department on or before June 18, 2026. Payments are non-refundable after June 18, 2026, unless a documented medical excuse is provided.
